What Are Airborne Diseases?

At hospital. Having an ear checkup againThere are many ways on how diseases spread. Some get transferred through sneezing, coughing, or any close contact. These are called airborne diseases primarily caused by microbes transmitted through the air. This can be credited to pathogens that are carried by dust or small respiratory droplets suspended in the air. Once the pathogens are inhaled, infections can occur. Examples of airborne diseases are the common cold and cough, Tuberculosis, Influenza, Chickenpox, and Anthrax.

There’s a high risk of getting infected with airborne diseases. Precautionary measures can be done to reduce this risk. One way is to keep distance from an infected person.
